On the decoration side, the Edmond Petit workshop came to digitize some rooms in order to reproduce, on wallpaper, Oberkampf's original thematic drawings: a world first! These decorations bear witness to the artistic wealth of the French 18th century.

The house is 800 m from the commuter train station, Vauboyen (RER C), and allows you to reach Versailles or the Massy-TGV station (High Speed Train station) in less than 15 minutes. The City of Paris is less than 1 hour away by commuter train and less than 25 mn by car (off-peak hours).

Offering a beautifull view of the listed site of the Bièvre valley, this quiet residence, located in Jouy-en-Josas, within Versailles Grand Parc agglomeration and Paris Region, offers 5 bedrooms and a studio. The home can accommodate up to 14 people (if 2 sleeping bags in addition to the 12 beds). The “civil liability” insurance of the traveler who books must be sent to the owner when making the reservation request. This insurance must cover damage caused during the stay as well as any loss of rental income. The person who has done the booking will present his/her valid Identity Card to the concierge. 4 cars can be parked (2 in the garage, 2 on the alley), in addition to the street. Some services and equipment are optional. Please specify your choices on your answer so that the concierge can prepare the Maison de la Toile de Jouy according to your wishes. The options chosen will be payable upon arrival. Preparation of beds + bath towels = 10,50 euros per bed per stay. Options: Shower gel and shampoo (top of the range): eleven euros and fifty cents per day for the whole house. Washing machine: six euros/wash. Machine to dry the linen: six euros/drying. Bedding features: 8 Epéda 90×200 cm 4 Realit (Royal) high density (35kg/M3). Two Realits measure 90×190 cm and 2 others 80×190 cm 1 umbrella bed with a good quality baby mattress. The beds are side by side (with “king size” bedding) but can be separated (with individual sheets). The home can accommodate up to 14 people (if sleeping bags in addition to the 12 beds). Payment of the bedding and options will be given in cash to concierge. A bill will be done. A security deposit of one thousand and five hundred euros in cash will be requested by the concierge and fully returned at the end of the stay if no damage. A proof of deposit will be done.

The men’s Olympic cycling event will pass on August 3 via the D117, in Jouy-en-Josas (source: Versailles website). One will be able to see the athletes from the house. The women’s Olympic cycling event on August 4 will pass through Buc, a neighboring village. The Olympic horse racing events will take place in Versailles: the former and famous royal city borders Jouy. The Paralympic Games will take place from August 28. The Maison de la Toile de Jouy is exceptionally open until September 1, 2024. Up to 4 cars can be parked in the property (2 in the garage, 2 on the house alley).
